    Epoxy-coat horror story, PLEASE HELP!

Re: Epoxy-coat PLEASE HELP! Lol, sorry about the title it is kind of needlessly alarming. Consider it changed. (how the hell do you change the title anyway, it let me edit the first post but the title you see from the forum is still the same)

    Epoxy-coat horror story, PLEASE HELP!

Floor dimensions are 20x20. Just started looking at racedeck actually, the only thing that concerns me is the price (looks to be about $1k for my garage) and epoxy just looks so much better in my opinion. How well does racedeck take abuse?

    Epoxy-coat horror story, PLEASE HELP!

Yes, i did a moisture test by taping a plastic bag just like it said. This was done prior to prep and the results were negative for moisture. I did pressure wash it several times during the prep but it was left to dry overnight. I should point out that i could see the start of the fish eyes...

Do i need to Caulk the concrete creases before i ad Epoxy-Coat?

spent the last 3 days prepping the floor, its probably a little bit of overkill but i like to do things right the first time. Heres what i did: 1: swept and powerwashed the floor. Then dried it with a sguegee and a leaf blower. 2: scrubbed the whole floor with behr degreaser and a stiff...

    High gloss floor?

I second the motion for going with an epoxy. Home depot sells a clear-coat kit and epoxy kit both made by rustoleum, its around $100 for the clearcoat per 250 sft, and $60 for the epoxy.

    Epoxy or VCT

Most of them come with kits for etching, and the manufacturers state that all you really need to do is clean...

Awesome guys, i think im gonna buy a cheap grinder from craigslist ($30) and just get a diamond wheel from home depot. Thanks for all the suggestions, and by the way AlphaGarage i did look into wolverine coatings before i bought epoxy-coat but the website was almost impossible to navigate for me...

Do i need to Caulk the concrete creases before i ad Epoxy-Coat?

Im about to lay down some Epoxy coat, and i was wondering if i needed to put caulk in the creases where the concrete slabs meet. and if i was going to grind the floor first, does it have to be diamond tipped or can i just use a regular grinder?

    Building garage cabinets

wow guys thanks for the warm welcome. I got the Epoxy-coat today and it should go down this weekend, with pictures to follow. As for the cabinets, there are a lot of great ideas on here, thanks for the help. While it would probably be easier to get the cabinets for free from craigslist, i really...

    Building garage cabinets

My garage is very important to me, as i will be spending most of my time in there working on various projects. I want to build a wooden cabinet system with a decent sized workbench area, but...
