Thanks for all the comments - it's obvious I came to the right place! I'll keep looking, doesn't look like Parker was a big name tool maker. $10 back in 1951 was a decent amount! Mark

I was perplexed when I first saw this tool as well. Seems the concept must not have taken off because I'm not seeing any Parker No. 5's out there and just a few similar other makes/models.
