The catalog doesn't have a date in it, I found an ad in a Popular Mechanics from 1930 mentioning Nicholls Tool Co. though.

RTM I have been searching and always find tiny references but haven't found any real substance. I wrote the Art Reference Dept. at the Smithsonian and they wrote back last night with a ton of angles to pursue.

Private, I have 11 boards total. 9 boards are complete with the adddress cover sheet, 2 are just an image of a chisel and no cover sheet. I had forgotten, but came across some "Hard Test" Tools catalogs I have, from Nicholls Tool Co. Inc. Lemont, Illinois that have some of the drawings in it...

Hello Folks, I came across this thread while searching for info on these items I have. They are not tools, and I'm not exactly sure what to call them. Artist proof? Anyway, Maybe some help on someone somewhere that could give me more background. Thanks, Mark
