Im cleaning up a Coats tire changer and would like to paint it. Does anyone know what kind and color paint I should use that is close to the original Coats red color?
thanks,mark
Ozzy, which machine do you use every day, the greg smith one or the AAE model? What is considered low profile? I have a 225/45-17 and 275/40-17 sitting here. Will those size tires require the assist arm? thanks, mark
Thanks for the comments. Does anyone have experience with the AAE changer? It's a little cheaper with free shipping. Looks like the same thing to me. thanks, mark
Does anyone have any experience with the Greg Smith tire changer:

or this one from AAE:

They look about the same to me. This is just for home...
D110pickup, Thanks for the pictures, that's what i was trying to visualize. I noticed both arms are at their minimum length to hit the lift points. Looks sturdy though with the large columns.
Thanks!
Hi,
Id love to know how it works with a civic and prius! I have a dodge diesel truck which im pretty sure it wont have a problem with, but i also have a jetta and wouldn't mind a miata at some point in the future. I don't want to purchase a lift that will have a problem with the smaller cars...
I'm looking at the Greg Smith Direct Lift PV-10. It has 2 stage front arms unlike other lifts in its class that have 3 stage front arms. I'm worried that the arms will not have enough travel to reach the lift points on smaller cars.
Can anyone with a PV-10 lift comment, have you had any...
Does anyone know anything about an ALM lift? Is this a good lift, are parts readily available? I can't find a manual online. Any comments appreciated.
thanks,
