Are there valves that control standing pilot and gas flow to burners?

Gotcha. Would I be able to convert ignition system to direct spark or intermittent pilot to eliminate one valve and avoid from potentially having to replace both electric gas valve and pilot valve shown?

If I were to install the universal valve shown in pictures - would I be able to eliminate both valves currently installed on heater? I know on the newer Modine in our other shop there’s a valve similar serving as gas and pilot valve and just want to confirm this heater can operate correctly...
