Anyone here used this mig welder. It's on sale now for 199.00 but if it's junk I don't want to waste my money. The Hobart and Lincoln are twice the price so I'm a little leery.
Re: what did you do in your garage today?
Daughter gave me a paper towel caddy for Christmas. Opened it up and realized it required a trac system to install. Forty six bucks later, Gladiator trac 34.95 end caps 11.95 got it installed. Kids, gotta love em!
Try and locate a swap meet or trade show in your area. Go and look at all the lifts displayed and make your decision based on the fit and quality of the item not on the price. I bought a Revolution Lift, made by Rotary Lifts, over a Back Yard Buddy Lift that was considerably more expensive yet...
I've been collecting my tools for more than forty years so I'm at the point where I only purchase a new tool when I'm into a project that I don't have the right to for. So yes I use the new tool right a way more out of necessity than anything else!
I have used FRP (fiberglass reinforced panel) on sheet rock and after about a year they still look fine. I used the grey panels which have a pebble finish. I use the garden hose when they're dirty and the dirt comes right off.
Here in central NJ we're not worried about pupil restriction or busting one out while working on a project; we're worried about some little piece of *hit breaking in to fuel his drug habbit. Only window in my garage is fifteen feet off the ground. I have a nice bright light over my bench!
