i've been using the ph3050a from snap-on, yea it's pricey but it definatley works well. no regrets.

i have had mine for more then a year with no issues. A question to the guys running them on 18 volt batteries, are you modifing the battery or the impact?

thanks for the replies, what i ended up doing was running 1-1-1-3 aluminum wire from the main to the sub panel and coated all terminations with noox-x an anti-oxidation paste. wire from the local electric supply was 1.27 a foot.:thumbup:[/URL][/IMG]

my question for the morning is what size wire, and should i look at either copper or aluminum? the main panel is a SD homline and the sub panel is a SD qo. the run is right about 90 feet. I think i have the correct size in mind but only for copper, is aluminum a better option? UPDATE: see below

i was searching for a mid rise lift and was comparing them to other brands, i found out about them from ebay. went ahead and purchased the lift, communication with them was good. shipping from texas to southern ohio took about four days from fed ex, the packaging could have been a little better...

Alright, i went ahead and purchased the lift 1395.00 free delivery ( i did have it delivered to my work because of the stated shipping weight of 1000 lbs. and did not feel like lifting it from a stright truck or semi. i was told from another supplier that it could not be put on a lift gate...

mid rise lift question UPDATED WITH PICS has anyone used national auto tools? looking at the nmr-6 mid rise lift, seems to me that it is like the same one that forward offers? any comments or thoughts are appreciated.

when looking at a machine to weld thicker material is it important to have 100% duty cycle? i have only welded with a mig gun, how different is it to tig with steel or even aluminum, would i use the same tig torch for both?
