Our pressure treated 2x4's do that on days with bright sunlight after rain. If you flip them over once they cool down at night they go back straight. I've not seen on stay like that before, but during the day the cover boards on the units can get "c" shaped in less than 2 hours.

Painting the heads of all the fasteners after install is a P.I.T.A. and looks terrible when the finish fades and the touch up doesn't. Primed is cheaper, and gives a uniform finish that will fade evenly.
