What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Finally hooked up my heated mirrors and added blinkers to them!

    Air compressors and soda blasting

Any kind of Blasting uses a lot of air. Ideally to blast anything, you need to start with an actual 5hp unit or up(In my experience). That said... You can always try it. I'm sure you will be pausing waiting for the compressor or compressor's to catch up. Personally I would just upgrade to a...

    2" receiver mounted drillpress!

Well... Finally got to use the setup. Worked great. Could be taller but the offset would only add to the weight. Guys were able to finish the hidden hinge conversion for the whole house before lunch. One on disassembly, one boring holes, and one on assembly. Definitely worth the effort for us.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Did some work on the Silverado. Valve covers, PVC valve, cleaned MAF, cleaned throttle body, new coils, spark plugs, wires, oil change and replaced oil cooler lines. Still have tires, coolant flush and trans oil to do.

    Mobile tool truck for contracting

Agree, was going to be part of the brush guard I never built but after hitting a deer I'll have to get back on it. No alarm yet. I should add it to the list tho

Something like 12-13' to the bulk head, with the sliding door open I can lay 16' down. I'm guessing over all 24' long. Shortest one they make, which I wanted to navigate neighborhoods. But they make them huge. The turning radius is ridiculous, very tight.

    Mobile tool truck for contracting

The problem with thieves is they have all the time in the world to be thieves, since they don't work. They want it bad enough they will get it. I make sure I have really good coverage with my insurance. I park the truck in my shop when it's at home. When we leave it on the jobsite, we are...

    Mobile tool truck for contracting

Well... Hit a doe yesterday. 55mph and the bumper saved me from having to replace a 3k fiberglass hood. No damage, just a scratch on the bumper and some hair stuck in the D ring. Other than hauling my generator out front I built it for this exact reason. Never finished the brush guard but I may...

    2" receiver mounted drillpress!

Not at all it's pretty solid even did the dad shake "yep it isn't going anywhere". That is with the pin installed so that could have something to do with it.

    2" receiver mounted drillpress!

So I finished the table, it's a little big but it will go back and forth between this and my walker turner, that I still have to refurb. I kept the t track the same width as my beloved dp600 so the fences can be shared. I still have to rip the fence down and add a t track with flip stops but for...
