Wiring outlets for Welder and Compressor

Thanks for all the responses. I've decided to follow PoorOwner's advance and buy the proper 10/2 wire and wire each the welder and compressor to their own breaker. The problem is I'm left with 19 meters of 10/3 that cannot be returned because it was cut from a spool. I don't want this to go...

    GLFlyer's Intro and Garage Build

Are you concerned with your property taxes increasing with the new addition? I've been planning a second level shop to my garage and the only thing holding me back is the extra $1000/year I would have to pay the government. My taxes are already over $5000K a year.

    Sub Panel for Garage

What do you guys think of using this main panel as a sub panel in my garage. It might be overkill but it's a good price for the value pack. http://www.homedepot.com/p/Eaton-Cutler-Hammer-100-Amp-20-Space-20-Circuit-Indoor-Main-Circuit-Breaker-Panel-Value-Pack-BR2020B100V4/100203297

    Sub Panel for Garage

This is how I want my sub-panel setup. I want a main breaker in the shop. Anything I should be concerned about with this setup? Can I buy a regular main panel or am I restricted to the number of breaker slots? picture attached.

    Sub Panel for Garage

I have the book. It doesn't say really much about sub panels. If I were wiring a new home it helps a lot.
