If you're going to weld the sheet metal to it, it shouldn't need "x" bracing. You probably won't be putting anything really heavy on top, maybe manuals or boxes of extra parts, not heads or block right? Looks plenty strong enough to me as is. Add the door and sheet the sides and good job...
