    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

It's definitely been used and abused. On the plus side, the tool does the work instead of me pulling 2 inch wrenches. I've had it 6 years, and I'm still in awe of how much wear and tear on my body it has saved.

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

What I have at home. Not pictured are various batteries and a string trimmer. The 3/4" is actually a work tool, but it was in sore need of a clean/grease job.

The Klein Tool addiction thread! :)

A few things I've picked up recently. The 2 on the left were auction sale finds, the ones ln the right I bought after throwing my cheap stripper/crimper combo into the bush out of frustration. Haven't had a chance to use them yet, not sure if the katapults will be all that or not, but I like the...

2026 Garage Sale Thread (15th Annual)

Picked this up at an auction recently. $60 cdn, it had been sitting on a shelf in the box since 2014. Not a crazy can't miss deal as there's chinesium ones available for comparable prices, but this one seems actually quite nice, and made in Canada. I have a couple of home projects to use it for...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Cleaned and greased inside this old girl. It sees a lot of abuse, and was starting to make funny noises. Full of coal dust since the last cleaning over a year ago. The insides are starting to show some wear, but for 6 years of hard use it's not too bad. The battery contacts on the other hand...

Electric lawnmowers in 2026 - any good?

To be fair, there's a digital screen on the top of the blower that was impacted and I believe that's what the issue is. Still, the screen shouldn't be on the tool if it can't take that mild of an impact, as OPE is always going to see some amount of abuse.

Electric lawnmowers in 2026 - any good?

I have an Ego mower and leaf blower (for light snow on sidewalks) and I'm not crazy about it. The battery from the mower has started giving me grief just past warranty. The leaf blower took a drop from about knee height and doesn't work anymore. This one is still within warranty, so hopefully...

Question about a 18 in flex head ratchet

If you can't think of a use for one, you probably don't need it. If you find you're using your breaker bar often and wish it were a ratchet, then by all means, it would be a good purchase. You'll probably be fine without one, and they're fairly easy to come by if you find you do need one one...

    Tripod Chain Vises

Ridgid makes top quality pipe tooling. Milwaukee seems to make fairly mediocre tools outside of power tools. Without having used a milwaukee chain vise, I'd recommend the ridgid in a heartbeat and guarantee you wouldn't be unhappy.

Hydraulic hoses were my most common use at work. They're not a common item to use, but when nothing else will fit, you'll be glad to have them. They aren't something I was willing to spend much one because of this, but at $30, they'll pay for themselves the first time I need one.

I am going broke buying duplicates of tools

That's a respectable if very expensive policy. If that's the case, I still think you should slowly build up more sets at your other locations. Do it slowly over time, watch for used stuff or sales, and do it a little at a time. Moving your stuff between locations is a great way to lose things...

I am going broke buying duplicates of tools

If you find yourself rebuying things often because you lost it, you might as well buy another set now and have a set up at all of your work locations. This mostly applies to small ticket hand tools as it's affordable to do so.

I was eyeballing those too, decided I didn't need more ratchet wrenches though. I've been hoping they sell out so I don't order a set after too many beers.

I was checking out some clearance stuff on PAs website and ordered a couple of things. https://www.princessauto.com/en/angled-open-end-wrench-sets/product/PA1000002955 16 piece set of angle wrenches on clearance for $33. I have a set of the SAE at work and while you don't use them much, they...
