CL Find and restore Ammco 4000

It was a complete mess and the linear feed wasn't working. I stripped it to a bare case and rebuilt it from the ground up. It is as good as new now. I saw theses selling quite high 1200-2000, but when I picked this up it was 100% complete with 3 full sets of adapters and tooling, so 300...

CL Find and restore Ammco 4000

$400.00 and lots of time later I have a nice brake lathe. Came with complete tooling and adapters. I use it more often than I thought. I even used to turn a 4" PVC adapter at one point.

I have a 9k Rotary from 2001 and a new 10k Bend Pak both asymmetrical's. The old Rotary has a smaller foot print, the arm locking mechanisms are superior on the rotary (at least mine), Pumps seem about the same. I can't say on new Rotary. Mine was US made. My bend-Pak is Chinese of course, but...

More car lift opinions needed on value.....please.

This is true. New lifts come with and expanding floor anchors, shims, nuts etc. Cables, sheaves and such do wear especially in a high production environment. Pumps wear and so on. I was shopping CL for another lift to go along with my Rotary, ended up buying a new Bend-Pak, picked it up at a...
