I am the son my father and husband never had! My husband is in no way handy so my father would always help me. My father and I were always close and we shared in each others interests and he taught me so much about home repair and gardening and all those things a husband is usually in charge of. Unfortunately he, and my beloved step-father recently passed away and now I have no one to help me with those "manly" type things. Not a day goes by that I don't find some question that only one of them could answer. I am hoping that you guys would be willing to become my surrogate fathers and help me find the answers to the questions I come up with. Right now, I am in the process of cleaning my step-fathers tools to sell. He had been sick for about 12 years and his tools just sat in a damp shed. They are now covered in varying degrees of rust. Some of them are really clean but almost all of them need a good cleaning. After I finish this project I will be moving on to selling my fathers tools and I am sure I will need help with them as well.
