Guessing it is something in the iPhone since I had difficulty the the openers and a thermostat. I originally set them up using a different iPhone and had no problems.

Just an update. I installed the myQ app on my daughter’s android tablet and was able to connect both openers with no problems. Looks like the issue is between the openers and iPhone.

I was able to connect the thermostat no problem using a laptop. I’m thinking it’s a problem with my iPhone connecting to the opener. I’ll have to see if one of the kid’s tablets will work.

I got nothing to work yet. I don’t know how to set up the 2.4 as a separate network. Now that I changed network name and password I can’t get the thermostat to connect either. Seems that they are having a problem connecting to my iPhone to be able to change wifi settings.

I changed the network name and password back to the old name and they still won’t connect. I may have messed with the openers enough to erase the wifi settings or there is something about this router that they don’t like.

Wish I would have known that I could have use the same network name and password for the new router. That would have saved a lot of screwing around. I am not tech savvy.

There are devices that are connected to the 2.4 band

They do require 2.4ghz. The router does have dual channels. Shouldn’t they connect to that signal automatically?

I installed a new router and can’t get two chamberlain openers to connect to the new network. One opener will go into the programming mode but can’t connect. The other opener doesn’t seem to go into the programming mode. Both of these opener worked fine with the old network. The wifi signal is...

I could use one of those.

What is the temperature in the garage?

Can you put another 2x4 on the end of the wall to make it longer? Then tile down to the floor.
