    Overkill for electrolysis purposes?

Hey guys recently started restoring old power and hand tools. So far I haven't gotten any that have significant rust but I'm always on the lookout for items for future projects. I found this beast of a battery charger that should do the trick. I guess my question is, is this thing overkill and...

    Borrowing tools

I only use my tools for home use but I'll occasionally ask to borrow something. The most frequently borrowed item is a trailer for when I pick up a large tool. I think I've borrowed a trailer about 5 times now but from 3 different people. I know I know I need to buy my own and I would have...

    Clausing 1815 drill press

    Clausing 1815 drill press

Hey guys been looking for a quality drill press for awhile now. I found a clausing 1815 on CL for $500. It appears to be in good condition. The current owner bought it and said it worked (this includes the power feed as well). In the ad he states its a 3 phase machine, which he doesn't have...

Wilton Vise Restore (Who could be sick of these)

So I picked up this vise from Joe.Striper (also a member on this forum). I found his ad on CL for a solid no name vise, but that one was sold and he showed me what he had in his shop. Even though he had several vises that were half the price of the Wilton in good working order I was drawn in by...

    Split washer woes

Hey guys I'm refurbishing a small vise I got for free and I'm having a hell of a time getting this split washer off. I've tried a screwdriver to pry it open and my snap ring removal tool (actually snapped one of the ends off:( ) Is there an easier way to do this?
