, how often do you replace the nozzle (new one) they look well made to last just clean re use maybe change the O ring, I find better to replace less problems
does anybody else just keep using the same nozzle? maybe i am doing something wrong in cleaning ?
I did the same thing to my boiler chamber, cut out a thick 16ga stainless back plate so I would not burn a hole in it.
Also I found some like to use the Rex c 100 controller I found it to be unstable to use. prefer using the 612dc better built and more reliable

how deep is your boiler maxre? mine is about 20" on a burnham boiler with 306 stainless 1/4 thick back plate to protect the boiler my nozzle is .70 spray you may need a .50 nozzle to keep the flame down I found i purchased a .50
nozzle and the flame was not great
After getting my boiler running last year. this year I noticed a lot of rust build up in the system .had to use a water softener, and jaccussi Stain and corrosion inhibitor with filters to get the rust out.

sewerzuk, I also picked up a small thomas vacuum pump/compressor ebay, 107cx18 with a longer coupling. it will fit where the oil pump was.(AFG) may need to machine a plate between. hate hearing the larger compressor running $$$ not cheap in Eastern ontario
sewerzuk, I down sized nozzle from ,75 to .50 also cut off about 1 inch on the fin made it closer to the head ..less **** build up on the swirling

ended up tweaking the system running the preheat tank at 160f and the nozzle at 240f with a shut off solenoid on the tank to keep the oil from dripping .
Also found the air psi needs to be adjusted depending on how hot the canola oil is.
ditched the rex100 unreliable, went with as per ck...
