Never mind - figured it out after I opened the handle

Do not buy this saw. Not only you loose out on the light you also loose out the depth cutting capacity. This is a 12" but works like 10" because of the limitation of the cut is 4.5" - see the specs. It does not have a depth stop too. You are better off buying a craftsman/harbor freight miter...
