Put two steel doors in. Not much metal left and looking for advice on trimming the exterior without j trim. I was thinking about using waterproof tape and then use 1x3 hardie trim around the door then silicone all around. Thoughts?

Air handler the head unit. No reason other than it would be an easy electrical run and in a place that’s not in the way. My land outside the shop slopes so instead of making another pad, I figured it would be better to anchor into the concrete with runner pads.
