Different trailer but I have a 5x8 trailer I put a pressure treated pine deck on to replace the expanded metal. I just wire wheeled the metal and used Rust Oleum rusty metal primer and Rust Oleum paint to topcoat it. That was about 3 years ago and the trailer lives outside. Everything is...
This gun has good reviews and is supposed to be able to do it all. It's the next gun I'm buying.

Why take the time to paint the roof white if you're covering it with solar panels? How do the solar panels affect the interior temperature?

I can't stand trying to figure out what someone else did on a bad wiring job. I like to rip it out and start fresh. Helped my friend on a boat and he was the third owner. The wires looked like this truck. I think I pulled out half a mile and only put in like 20 feet of wire total. Good luck...
I wouldn't say it's a horrible place, just need to take into account the water from driving in the rain, washing, etc. Dad make the shaker scoop on his 78 Trans Am functional.

I've been planning to do one for a while but something else always comes up. I was planning on doing drop steps with square tubing. Have a 4" main tube that runs close to the rocker panel then the drop steps cut and welded to make the bends out of maybe 2" square with either diamond plate or...
I used to only use that too until it dripped out of my front tractor hub after driving it into town. It's like it got hot and melted. I felt the hub and it wasn't even warm. I switched greases to the green because it's supposed to be for more severe duty. Haven't had any problems so far but...
Cut it 7.5" deep and make a 2x4 frame that fits inside the cabinet and set the the 2x4's flat against the wall. Screw the cabinet to the 2x4's and use them to also mount the pegboard. This way your cabinet regains a structural integrity and you have a place to mount pegboard.

Ah, the old peeling Mopar. I think that was when they galvanized the panels but didn't get the primer to adhere properly. The only way is to take it all the way down. Not really for the faint of heart.

I was looking at their guns and that's probably what I will get next. I might use the HF gun for primers as I see a lot of people doing that but save the color and clear for the good guns.

I have never found a use for the stuff. Its mediocre at best at everything. I tried using it to displace water on my MG distributor cap and it seemed to make matters worse. I always kept some napkins or paper towels in the glovebox because that was the only place that stayed dry in that car...
