Best way to heat 1000 sqft garage

I twisted the ends of some wires together and now the 1956 660Watt Sears radiant is working again. That's nearly 12,000 btu's of electric heat. I don't use the propane unless it's under forty. Yee-Hawww

Pocket hose "As seen on TV"

Girlfriend bought me one for fathers day 2013. It lasted a couple weeks until it exploded. We got a free replacement that was never taken out of the package. In my mind I was thinking "Why bother." I will use it this year and try to make it last.(maybe only open the valve a little bit) It was a...

Best way to heat 1000 sqft garage

A barbeque grill is not a good option for 24/7 heating in any garage, but for pre-heating a smaller garage with 48 feet of 3/8 inch gap between doors and frame it does fine. When it gets up to 60 degrees I shut it down and let the electric heaters maintain. For some reason it will bring it up...

Best way to heat 1000 sqft garage

People run their unvented gas ovens for hours on end while cooking Thanksgiving dinner inside their house. I only use it for a few hours at a time and there is plenty of fresh air getting in, plus it works.

Best way to heat 1000 sqft garage

I heat my 20x20 basically un-insulated garage with fiberglass panel loose fitting overhead doors with my 36,000 btu barbecue grill. Gets it from zero to sixty in about 45 min to an hour. 100 gallons lasts me a year, I leave the lid open and the wall behind the grill gets to 80 degrees. I have...

General Opinons - Harbor Freight, etc

I really like the composite ratchets, especially in the cold. Good ten dollar purchase. $7.00 shipping somehow makes it feel cleaner. I have only been inside an actual store twice and it did feel/smell weird. It's 250 miles to the closest one from here. The only thing that has failed on me was...

I value your opinion- what pocket knife are you carrying?

One a buddy of mine bought for a dollar at a swap meet or auction or something in 1997. I work with people younger than my pocket knife.

And you thought you had everything...

Everyone has done that. Everyone has done that more than once. Who will be the first to sue? You? probably not. Me? No, because it will be too expensive, but someone will kill themself with this thing.

And you thought you had everything...

What if you were distracted talking to someone or something and you thought you were clear of the vehicle and hit the lever to raise it and put the side of your head into a rusty running board bolt?

Alignment of Vehicle after replacing ball joints

All you need to do for toe. I did this for my wifes toyota. It was wearing tires out every ten thousand miles. I had three or four sets of used tires to get rid of so I didnt worry about it until we got to the last set. We have at least that many on this set and no wear. The rear end has to be...
