I use the **** out of these cheap posts. A cheap fence charger, a roll of wire and done. Quick and easy.

Get a set of these and a piece of 5/8's round stock. Weld the round stock to the frame, slide them on, drill and pin.....done.
I recently picked this up at Wally world and have zero complaints about it. I'm not sure what kind of deal you were getting but these are always in stock.
