I like Proto/Blackhawk they are my choice to replace Craftsman now that Chinese kids make them. Im different than the others because Im really not impressed with S-K. I think S-K over prices there tools in comparison with their quality. I have extremely well made Proto/Blackhawk tools that...

    Williams Tools poor quality

I didn't take pics of his stuff but I got some of my wrenches. I can't figure out how to post them though. I'm not exaggerating these were bad he even wondered if somehow they were knockoffs. Maybe defects IDK. I'm just bummed my wrenches are similar.

    Williams Tools poor quality

Oh yeah he said a reputable supplier sold them to him at near Stanley cost. He said they all are from 2013 and were dated such on the boxes. Even though Taiwan was on most packaging a lot of them had no COO at all. The ratchets may be Kolbalt quality but sockets had uneven teeth were crooked...

    Williams Tools poor quality

Just received my Williams adjustable wrenches via ups and thought someone was pranking me. They are Pittsburgh quality if that! Tons of jaw play and adjuster hangs up almost every rotation. I litteraly have to readjust them after each turn. No COO so I'm thinking pakastan or India...Not...

    Looking for a compression tester

Waaaayyyy late to the discussion but even though they may not be precision instruments but they need to hold up. My last few just stopped working. And yes if I'm buying an instrument for measuring anything I want it to be as accurate as possible. So IMHO I think 1 lb. +/- is important.

Ko-ken Tools -- What Makes this Brand Special !?!?

Man I really want some Jap tools so my German tools can gang up on my French and American tools. Thankfully I have very little Chinese tools or my Craftsman tools would have China on them, Oh wait they already do!!!!!!!!!

    Let's see your toolbox.

My next box will be a Homak from Napa those boxes are well build and just as smooth as any high end box around. They are very reasonable as well. I saw a great looking yellow one with painted black handles and was like whaaaaat! Nice looking box.

    Let's see your toolbox.

Vintage 2005 Costco special edition(LOL) stainless steel box. I have beat on this thing awesome quality and IMO looks better than most of the newer SS boxes. Only complaint is the drawer handles have squishy rubber end boots that keep coming off. Could of spent 3 times as much for a matco roller...

Any thoughts on Williams adjustable wrenches? Just bought a couple off EBay. They look almost identical to the Irega's. Not sure the coo but nonetheless they look great.

    The Harbor Freight PASS/FAIL Thread...

HF Angle wrenches- Pass. 8 years and tons of abuse they have been great. I still don't understand why angle wrenches are so much more expensive than combo wrenches but anyway who cares when HF work great. ###But I have been doing a lot of research and have found some off brands like Tekton...
