Are you talking about the pictures in the first post? If so, it looks bent because the aluminum plate behind the handle was being pushed out by some screws that were too long. The aluminum plate isn’t square, the handle is fine. This box is in fantastic shape for its age.

I got the 1" square plastic bar today and cut it to length. Now the grips are supported and it's easily removable if I need one of the seldom used air tools in the bottom of the drawer.

I've used the hitch on my truck to pull a few degrees out of bend. 1 3/4" fits inside the receiver nicely. You'll need a pretty long straight side (lever) to move it even a couple degrees.
