Sold the rest of my Craftsman G2D sets and replaced with tekton. Was sick of them breaking and chrome peeling.

Replaced all my old g2s craftsman with tekton, been much better. Got sick of the craftsman end of the run ****.

I purchased a 5" vise from them, its the forged steel model. The light weight vs cast works great being I am dealing with apt living atm.

Like others have said, Paper for full sheets/new install. Mesh for repairs. Premix is fine for new install, I tend to use hot/powder on first coat repairs though. The trick to the pre mix buckets, after your done with it.... clean the edge/sides of the bucket really well and then smooth out...

I had bought a huge set of craftsman tools + tons of extra stuff right before they moved to china. They worked and I used them for a little over 10 years but some did break and the quality was just not the same as old craftsman. I decided it was time to upgrade, cleaned them all up and pieced...

Keep an eye on ebay, I purchased a t72, f80, and s80a (1/4th, 3/8, 1/2 duel 80) for around $200 total shipped. All appeared to be brand new, not sure how these guys are selling them so cheap. I assume they run a huge truck route and the turn around on their sales lowered the wholesale price enough.

I did not, called the guy and he already had two people inline to go look at it. Text me later the first guy bought it. I will keep looking.

I think they do. Still undecided to take the 25% back, or return and purchase a ADI or one of the forged counterparts/keep waiting for a vintage.

I was offered a 25% discount to keep the vise. Thinking this might be a good bet and then try line up the jaws the best I can.
