It has a gear on the throat but the ends are capped. It's probably best to keep it original and it is available. I live in Fall River MA. I was just looking for a old drill press.

Does anyone know what kind of press this is ? Can it be changed to a drill press ? I came across it for 100 bucks jumped on it thinking it was a drill press but it has a different chuck and a foot pedal.
