    Dewalt Jobsite Radio

Love my DCR025, I have never regretted the purchase. Good radio reception, excellent sound, love the battery charger, extra outlets (use as a power strip) and bottle opener to boot. What's not to love!

Challenger LE10 2 Post Lift Question

The issue has been resolved. The installer came by this morning to check things out and apologized for not getting it right the first time. Also, we were both in contact with Challenger and they suggested a few things to check out. Making a long story short, the hydraulic cylinders were not...

    NewAge Cabinets reviews and tips

I just got some NewAge Pro cabinets. In the process of installing them now, very impressed with the quality. New Age customer service was great so far, as I have a out of alignment slider on 5 chest roller drawer. They are sending a new slider, though it looks like it is riveted in. If that...

Challenger LE10 2 Post Lift Question

Thanks for the note. You confirmed my suspicions, as I measured the lift pads and they are at 5 1/2" above the ground. The specs say it should 4 1/4" which is the difference between the lower part of the lift carriage and base plate. To answer your question, the cables are tight and not...

Challenger LE10 2 Post Lift Question

I had my Challenger LE10 2 post lift installed this past Friday. The installation was handled by an installer contracted by the lift reseller. Overall the installation went smoothly though one item stood out at the end. The arms on the lift do not drop enough to release the safety latches...

    Lift Installation

I went with an installer on my most recent lift purchase and install. They have not installed it yet, but in the coming weeks. I installed my MaxJax twice and that was easy to move and install. I am going with a Challenger LE10 which is a bigger beast that requires a forklift to move. With...

    Ask Rapidair!

Quick question for Mitch, I am going to install the RapidAir metal pipe in my new garage. In one area of the garage, I need to go behind a section of drywall. Is it OK to use a 90 degree connector to join two pieces of metal pipe or should I go with the plastic continuous pipe for the area...

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

Agreed on Epoxy, I used epoxy anchors with my 4' x 4" x 12" footers. Epoxy is the way to go.

4' x 4' x 12" will work fine, as you mentioned dowel the new footers into the existing slab. I used this method and has worked out fine. Also, the cost was less then $1,000 in my area and that included a new sidewalk from my house to my garage.

MaxJax - unusual problem with dedicated foundation

I had the exact some problem with concrete poured about two years ago for my new garage. Also, I did the exact same thing for the solution, new 4'x4"x12" footings with epoxy anchors from Wej-It. Everything torqued up great and is working as expected. I much prefer the epoxy over mechanical...

    Maxjax Installs: Post Here

The other important is cleaning the drilled holes. If you clean them and think they are clean, then clean them again or more. Mechanical and epoxy (chemical) like extremely clean surfaces to set. I agree that this site is very helpful. Kind Regards, Chuck

centering car (L to R) for a Maxjax?

I centered my car then did a tape outline on the front, driver and passenger sides. As I pull it in, I can open my door and see if the front/rear wheel are on the tape line edge. I used painters masking tape because it was handy but plan on doing something more permanent.
