Thanks everyone for the feedback. I want to put the compressor outside because I don't want to listen to it and I don't want to use up any more floor space. The wiring was run during construction so that is dealt with already. We have had sub-zero temperatures this year. That does not happen...

We get some cold winters here in South West Idaho. I purchased two Odyssey belt drives from Overhead Door with two insulated 10' doors. They are quiet and quick to open and close. Never had a bit of trouble in the two years we have owned them.

Hey, first time here and looking forward to learning some things garage related. I'm in the process of building a 600 sq. ft. shop in the back yard. Still in the design stages. We are ATV enthusiasts and like to go camping too. Hope to be enjoying the shop early next year.
