I spray paint my tools with Kubota orange. Helps me find tools others have borrowed and never brought back. Also when working outside garage I can locate them fast. At work i used purple, and pink to to the ones that were forever losing their tools.

I rebuilt mine 10 years ago with galvanized steel perlin. (4") Layed out on frame anf tack welded 2x2 angled across the front and back.No rattling or movement. Cost of wood vs metal is negligible.

Got blown engine in sons 97 Ceevy replaced with low mileage rebuilt Jasper 5.7/. Setting up now to R&R Toyota 5.7 that puked a piece of rod out of #7 side of engine block. Both engines blew up within 2 days of each other. Have been driving 45 years, many vehicles of all makes, no engine problems...

tried to get chev 5.7 vortrc engine to start after reinstalling in 97 chevy k1500. Bought a used engine to replace a blown 225,000 unit. Had motor to fire just after it was reinstalled. Put all the accessorys back on it and now it cranks but wont start at all. Checked timing and it is good...
