Great picture.
Sorry I will not be able to meet you at the event of the century in June but I had committed to a family holiday in Devon before I knew the date. So no need to renew my visa after all!
It is great to watch you using these tools that have come down through your family. I am ashamed to say I have a dovetailing jig that was my maternal grandfather's and I have never used it.
Thomas, you have inspired me to come up with a project just so I can use it.
Street legal is an interesting concept. I know some US states don't require a front plate but I hadn't realised Illinois didn't require a rear one!
Being able to drive your competition car on the road makes development and testing much easier. I would be reluctant to compete in anything other...
Well I have been wondering for many months why I wasn't receiving emails about updates on this thread. To be honest its the only thread on GJ I have been following in recent years.

Well Thomas the portion size must be good if the delightful Chris brings your meal out to the old shop in a wheelie bin!
As someone who has been married for 33 years I know the need to be careful.
Thomas, that is quite a stack. It makes our broad band router look a little inadequate. I bet as a result you can pick up your WiFi in all of the other buildings. Ideal for ordering parts.
I assume you have the video technology to be able to see how the cooking of dinner is coming on in the...
I don't know about "Powdercoat Appreciation". Since this thread started I have bought a powdercoating gun, consumables and a halogen oven for curing. Now I can even manage 2 layer powdercoating! Much easier than spraying paint and much neater than brushing paint when you have small bits to do in...
Thomas, what do you do with the yield information? Does it lead to selective manuring of areas where the yield has dropped?
I no some of the farms around here do soil compaction tests. They then only plough etc where the testing indicates a need.
