Hi again. Sorry to bother. Do you know anyone with a set of pipe jaws or even a pic of the pipe jaws for the Prentiss 183?

looked at the Pic and I can easily manufacture a collar like the one pictured what messed me up is there is a hole in the lead screw that looks as if it should be the retainer IE an approximately 1/4" hole for a drive pin or collar set screw. Its only 1 5/8" from the back of the crossbar...

Hi just picked up a 183 like yours Did you remove the lead screw from the slide assembly for the restoration? if so how? my lead screw retainer is missing and I can't see how it would work. Any help on what the retainer looks like or a picture would be appreciated Thanks Pete in...

Found an old Chas Parker 973A Vise Its made from Aluminum The Jaws Lead screw and lead screw retainer are cast or steel The vise is neat but I've never seen one made from Aluminum Can I get some Info?
