Here in Alaska we don't have tornado winds or anything, but we do have earthquakes! Since its a very seismically active area whatever we do needs to be well constructed and not just a pile of sticks and mud :)

LOL yes I am new :) I was going to do the room out of block I'd suppose, but I'm really relying on my architect as I have no idea the best way to do concrete up & over a room...which is why I'm here. I meet with the gal doing the plans next Monday night and want to have some intelligent things...
