I'm not disputing you, but It more resembles a rivet nut or insrtnut, but the solid end is mystery... its 1" log by 3/4" wide at the flat top/bottom. this from Grainger catalog... (mine are steel not aluminum)

I found a bag full of these today... Looked them up.. Rivet nuts... But, all the pics on the web show a through hole? I'm not familar with these at all... Cant even remember where I got them? Any help would be great! Thanks! BTW: They all look as nasty as this one! :confused:

Hey all, Just running this past everyone to see if anyone has seen a cheaper price. These are Sterilite 1803 flip top containers.. I saw a guy on Youtube that used alot of these for storage of bolts, nuts, hardware... He show them for $1 a piece... I cant find any under $2... I'm wanting to...

That's the way I feel.. If I can have time to sit down, read and digest the infp the better I get the subject... I am leaning towards more of metal art fabrication... And now the latest trend on Youtube is silently building without any comments.. And sometimes I would like to see measurements...
