If anyone has an extra $3500 lying around, I'll be willing to pick this up for you just to see it in person.

JB Weld is for vises what Bondo is for auto body.
I'm also looking for an entire swivel base nut assembly for a Reed 204R (not sure if it's the same nut for other models as well). Any help on where to go?
That's some top shelf stuff. I can only afford the Vinegar and PB Blaster mix.
I got some parts from tractor supply co that I'm going to throw together to get something close to this. Thanks for the inspiration
Anyone have any suggestion on how to make the "tool" he makes in this video @ 1:15 to open his seized vise? I'm having the exact same problem with my Morgan 140 and I don't have an entire machine shop to fabricate this.
I looked for something off the shelf at home depot that I could throw...
Finished this Dunlap 506-51770 today. It looks a lot better than it is. PO beat the **** out of it. Also, one of the jaw screws is completely sheared which the seller failed to tell me. I don't have the energy to drill it out and retap the hole. Not worth it. I have to save my energy for this...

That actually looks pretty cool tbh. The asymmetry of the bolts really sells it.
Thanks Shiftless. No I don't live in FL, I'm in NJ I just saw that the name was available.
I'll 100% paint one of my smaller vices coming next week the "Solo Jazz" pattern.

Hey all. Been lurking on here for a while now. Finally finished my "starter" vise, a Dunlap 5244. Learned a lot between working on this and the advice here. Now I've got a rusty project in my back seat and two more in the mail. Thanks for my latest <s>addiction</s> hobby.
Here's the album on...
