    DIY car lift decision help

Thank you all again for the responses. I thought I'd let you know what I decided on. I ended up buying a Nussbaum Sprinter 7. I'm extremely happy with it. I wish I could've had a lift way before now, very grateful and blessed to have it now.

    Ferris ZTR Advice

I use two Scags, one with a 25 HP Briggs and the other with a 19 HP Kawasaki. I'm a huge Scag fan but wish at times they had a suspension. Both engines have given me good service. The $1400 will mean little in the life of the mower, buy what you want now and you won't regret it.

    DIY car lift decision help

Thank you again for the responses. If I had an extra bay that I could use I would consider a post lift. My daily driver will be sitting over top of the scissor lift so it won't be in the way. The concrete in my garage floor isn't thick enough to satisfy the minimum requirements for post lifts...

Good Morning, Thank you for the responses, I'm continuing to research these things to death and I'm sure my wife is tired of me talking about them. I'm comparing numerous ones and still trying to make a decision. Are any on the forum familiar with the Nussbaum Sprinter 7? I've read the...

    DIY car lift decision help

Good Morning, I'm reaching out to anyone out there that can help me with making the best decision on what to buy. Here's my story. I'm a 58 year old who does light duty maintenance. Although I've been using floor jacks and jack stands all these years I'd like to go with a lift. A scissor or...

Car lift for home garage advice

Thank you for posting the pictures Muckman83. I'm considering getting a scissor lift, which model is yours? I would like to find one as heavy as what you're showing but with the availability to adjust the two sides closer together so I would be able to straddle it with my F150 every day. This...

TV reception in garage with small antenna, does it work?

Good Morning, A boring story so I won't go into it, but the bottom line is I've got an extra TV at my disposal. It isn't practical to run cable to the garage. I live in rural PA and am wondering if anyone has purchased and is using the remote antennas that I see at Walmart, etc. Please give...

    Selling advice, auction or not?

I appreciate everyone's input. There is so much, it's overwhelming. Every time I'm there looking through stuff I find things I didn't remember seeing before. My dad passed away suddenly without warning. I know Mom realizes how much work it will be for me to set up whatever course we take. I...

    Selling advice, auction or not?

Good Evening, Here's my story. My 87 year old mother is contemplating moving from the homestead. A house and 3 outbuildings that are full of a lifetime accumulation of misc. household items. I've sold a lot of the major items through the years since my father passed away, the family has...

    Steel garage intercom suggestions please

I appreciate everyone's responses. I don't have any CAT or phone wires running from the house to the garage. However, the electric is fed to the garage from the house so I'm thinking the plug in intercoms would be the easiest. I wish I could fix how easily startled I am. It's hard at times...

Good Evening, Ok, I've been a lurker long enough. Thanks everyone for all the help and ideas I've gotten from this forum. Now, I need some help on a topic that I haven't seen anything written about for quite some time. Yesterday all but put me over the top. My wife and I have been married...

    wash mitt, chamois storage/bracket/hanger

I've been looking for a bracket with spring loaded clips to hang wet wash mitts and chamois after use. I haven't had any luck so more than likely I'll be engineering something and making it myself. I was just wondering if anyone had ever found one to buy or made one themselves. I'd appreciate...
