Went to Japan. Traveling with family so didn’t get to go to Factory Gear due to scheduling. Also didn’t have anything I needed for tools since I stocked up from Amazon Japan prior to this trip. So just bought few minor things from Hands department store.
I've been so good on not spending money on tools, till now.........got the itch again. Ordered few items from Amazon Japan. First partial shipment I got is Tone 3/8 extra long handle (RH3FHX). It's very nice. All other stuff coming in December.
Got some tools from DRPD Labor day sale.
KTC Profit wrench 15/17/19 to complete the set (already own 8 to 14).
Koken 1/4 and 3/8 flexible extension.
Koken 16mm Zeal spark plug socket.
Really like the slim profile with the angle of Profit wrench.
Koken knurling is beautiful.
I got the Gearwrench version and they work really well. Must have if you want to separate ball joints, especially if you don’t want to damage the boot.
Woooo…I will visit Factory Gear one day when I’m in Japan.
Surprised to see a cartoon police officer sign “Stealing is a crime”. Wonder if stealing in Japan is more common now.
I too own only Japanese vehicles, six of them. I keep all of the sockets and here’s why.
1. Once friends and family found out I can fix cars, they asked for help and they don’t all drive japanese cars.
2. On occasion damaged or rusted bolts required using the oddball sizes to fit.
3. I still...
Couldn't resist the $59 deals for the Kobalt 24v bare tools (ignore the Dewalt shopvac I got from Costco for $60).
Kobalt 24V 1/2" Impact Wrench
Kobalt 24V 4" Circular Saw
Kobalt 24V Planer (this maybe uniquely priced at my local Lowes)
Well, I'm jealous of you for finding the magnetic hollow 2 nut driver set. My local HD have been out of stock. 7 pcs set is nice but these were non-magnetic which is a bummer (but still got them for $28).
