here in South Dakota, i have a seperate electrical meter for heat. heat electricity is priced at 3.2 cents a kilowatt hour. and electricity for everything else is 8 cents a kilowatt http://www.northernelectric.coop/Electricity.htm a propane tank is pretty rare sight around here.
