    Mac Tools

Our MAC guy is pretty cool. The US made stuff seems to be the best buy, and I quite like it, some of the cheaper stuff under the MAC brand isn't worth a punt at though, it can be nasty. Our snap on guy is a complete c**t... so unfortunately I don't buy snap-on anymore, although what I do have...

    I'm going to be sick.

my work uses fluke 177's, they're pretty cool. My SO meter isn't as accurate as the fluke down to .01v, but the features on the SO are far more useable day to day! Good haul! a little Debt is a good thing, unless you can't afford to pay it of coarse!

    New Snap-On Guy, NOT Happy

As above for the boundary. But I sometime's drive to see my old SO dealer, or give him a call and tell him what I want, and have him drop by my friends place to do the swap  that said we don't work to a clocking system. Our MAC guy sounds like your old SO guy though, so tend to get...

    MAC tools Spinflex Ratchets

Just wondering if anyone use or have an opinion on these? Bearing in mind the SnapOn gear in the UK is crazy money, and our MAC man is pretty cool, i'm in two minds about making a purchase as he'd have to order it in. Basically i'm in need of a flex headed ratchet, Snap on is crazy money, but...

What kinda "lines" does your tool guys shoot you?

I rarely need to be pushed into buying anything by the snap on guy.. I end up going in, Leave the van, then two steps away from the van thinking, "what the hell just happened?!?!?" - look down, and there's something under my arm

What kinda "lines" does your tool guys shoot you?

Its a regular occurrence to get different van guys around, they're all full of the same lines. Tool sales man who normally gives us the shop supplies: "I've got a new range of tools in. These are a new company starting out, their sockets and spanners are made to the same quality as Snap on &...
