    Dewalt Honey Badger 2?

I don't know anything about it but I sure would not hold my breath. I've been waiting for them to release the dcs438b that was supposed to be out last year and is now expected (at least by acme tool, the only place that even tries to give a ship date) in April... but will probably be pushed...

    Cordless Impact Wrench opinion

My vote is for the dewalt mid-torque. I have it, the high torque, and m12 3/8 fuel. I rarely use the high torque. I find it big, heavy, and cumbersome. The mid torque is enough for most things and what it can't handle, you say you have a good air impact for. You rarely need max power and...

    Anti-seize on Lug Studs?

I don't use it much at all anymore... used to use it all of the time but as I became more informed I have not used it as much. I also never used to torque lug nuts... tight as I could with a breaker bar. Actually torquing lug nuts and using no anti size vs over torquing with antisieze I...

    Magnaflux vs dynaflux

Yes, I was referring to the magnaflux branded dye penetrant kit not actually "magnafluxing." I was just curious if anyone knew of a difference between different brands. Magnaflux brand (spotcheck) is around 200-220 for their kit, dynaflux and even Radnor (probably rebranded one of these two)...

    More USA from Tekton

Meijer, rural king, and big R around my area used to carry partial inventory of their tools but it seems like all 3 have eliminated them for the most part. Rural King may still have a few things.

    Magnaflux vs dynaflux

I have an ls engine that has either a bad head gasket or cracked head. I plan to pull at least one of the heads, probably both to inspect, but while heads are off I would like to check for cracks. They are aluminum heads and was considering either of these 2 dye penetrant type kits... is one...

What kind of welders does everyone have?

Wow, here's a thread brought back from the grave... I posted earlier, but have since added a miller multimatic 215, I'm pretty impressed with it's mig performance. Haven't done much stick other than just trying it, but it seems pretty good. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Small world Jim... I work just a few minutes from that place, I've met a few people that have worked there. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

Icon tools are coming spring/summer 2019

There are about 800 other companies that sell kits that know to include a 24mm... I (and many others probably agree) don't feel the need to put forth that effort when I can just buy from someone else. 24mm being a common size is not exactly an industry secret. Why doesn't astro make precision measuring tools. I think this was mentioned already but I'll second it. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

With sky rocketing prices Will Snap-On survive the decade

Possible but a 3/8" from grainger is not likely to be too old. I actually have 3 different marking types from CL... it's hard to see in a pic but the upper one is like a deeper etching, almost like engraved, you can feel it with your fingernail. The lower one is obviously just your standard...

Wiring VFD to Delta 15-270 Drill press

I would assume they are the same as the slightly better ones I am familiar with, where there should be 2 terminals that need to be connected for it to run. If you don't use an e-stop then they get jumpered, otherwise put the nc e-stop between them. E-stop will always be quick-stop if I...
