    Spreading the Bonney affliction!

Oh yeah and I have a few of the pre-Loc-Tite and a lot of the Loc-Tite flare wrenches. The open-box on the right were from a military set I got off eBay several years ago and the ones in metric and SAE in the red vinyl roll ups were from my original set of Bonney I bought in 1984.

    Led interference

I have this problem also with the LED lights interfering when I use my garage door remote. I am normally leaving when I have this issue and it's a good reminder to me to shut the lights off. The secondary issue is the fact garage is a metal pole building and that cuts down the antenna also. I...

Starlink mounting options - Let's see yours

So what do you propose if you are in situation like I am in. There is no cable, cell phone/home internet by 5G or LTE is to far away, a unreliable telco and no fiber optic in my neighborhood. The options are Hughesnet which is not viable if you need to have calls via internet. My wife is in...

Starlink mounting options - Let's see yours

I realize this is an older thread and I just had to add to it. I just finished the mounting and installing my Starlink kit and I took Starlink up on their offer on free rental and hardware if you took it for a year then the dish is mine. I got the residential 200 plan for $80.00 a month with the...

What to do with old Dish TV equipment in garage

Yeah I agree those Dish mounts are pretty good. I had to yank the Dish mount off the south end of my back porch and relocate the mount to the north end of my front porch. Side note the black think is a small solar panel for the front porch lights. I did have to get a tube mount for the Starlink...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Removed, cleaned inside and outside of the wheels on my Ford Maverick and rotated the wheels and reset the tire pressure monitors.

Why are Snap-On toolboxes so expensive?

Would you want to be near that if someone decided to try and move the boxes with the truck on top of the boxes.

Changing out exterior door knob with rusted screws?

I had the screws no matter cam out and when that happens I break out my drill and drill the head off the screws. I been doing this for 49 plus years on aircraft and no matter what it always seems to work for me. Then once the offending screws are broken off I then can get behind them remains...

Ear Protection: Air Pods Pro 2

I have the AirPods 2 Pro set and I wear them with an older Pelter over the ear muffs when I work in my personal shop and when I am out in the yard working. Noise is muted very well. I primarily use my AirPods for the noise cancellation and as a hearing aid as I have normal hearing in the right...

    Spreading the Bonney affliction!

The tri-wing selector switch as far as I can tell lasted about three years with 1967 being the first year before Bonney changed to the single blade style selector switch. I am assuming that the reason for the switch was cost of manufacturing as it is far easier to do the switch.

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

I got the John Deere 2305 tractor back together today after replacing the defective diode for the fuel shutoff. A simple $30.00 diode and not the fuel shut off which cost around $275.00 is the best possible outcome on this. I cleaned off 15 years of crud, grass clipping and spilled diesel fuel...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Well finally got around to a start but immediate shut down on my John Deere 2305. I thought the fuel shut off solenoid was possible bad but I decided to do some research on the internet and I found out that the 2305 had an inline diode buried behind the black plastic under the dashboard. I...

A realistic appraisal of Bonney Tool quality

How true and if I do don’t have a 98% complete set of Bonney tools from the Triangle era I be looking elsewhere for basic hand tools. As it is now it’s been several months or longer since I found any out here on the western Washington state in the flea markets, pawnshops or thrift stores. Also...
