    Don't know. And I'm sure I'm using the wrong terminology. Whatever controls the fluid flow to and from the cylinders. I would assume there's a restrictor or something that doesn't allow full flow when lowering. I've had mine for years but that's really the extent of my knowledge of how lifts...

    Upon lowering, all of the fluid in the system is pushed back to the reservoir. I would look into the flow valve that is handling that.

    The swivel is a real game changer. No more twisting the gun over and over to undo the twists. Just hold the gun and walk away from the machine. Its also less fatiguing while cleaning since the gun will freely swivel while using instead of having a rigid hose-to-gun connection.
