    storm window storage rack/cart

has anyone ever built a storage rack/cart to store all the storm windows. My house has 31 windows of various sizes. (sounds like a lot, but it is just an older 1650 sq ft house built back in the thirties. They used a lot of windows before AC was around) I had them made up a couple of years ago...

Those are pins to hold the aluminum angle braces in place. They have a detent ball in the end so they can be pulled out easily but will stay in place. The angle braces keep the trolley from folding up when weight is put on one end. It is like a teeter totter. If you pull down on one end the...

Those are not regular bolts but the double ended bolt that tie the bottom af a beam trolley togethor. The stacked washers inside the trolley and outside the trolley set the width of the assy for the beam flange width. I can post the print of the assy tomorrow when I get back to work. Bill

Here are photos of the garage construction. It is a 34ft x 46ft pole barn. The ceiling height is 13 ft in the first story. This allowed for a 11ft x 18ft wide garage door with 2 ft above the door for the opener. I needed this for the height of my trucks. The trusses came from a company in...

newly invented garage hoist in action

The hoist is very fast. Lifts over 20 ft in seconds. But uses a lot of air. About 35 SCFM. My compressor puts out only 24 SCFM but catches up well between lifts. I purchased the hoist used from a weld shop that was closing down. They also sold me the aluminum I beam for about $400. It is light...
