    Sam’s Club -VS- Costco

That sounds sensible. ⅓ 91 octane and ⅔ 85 octane. Everyday brand gas limits credit card sales to $75 so I’m already used to pumping in two transactions.

    Sam’s Club -VS- Costco

No,,, no turbo. Just the vanilla 6.2L V8 that came with the F-350. Perhaps there is no good reason for me to use 87 mid-grade but the owners manual was unambiguous.

    Sam’s Club -VS- Costco

I'm puzzled since you are from CO too. For the lowlanders out there, our gas pumps usually provide 85, 87, and 91 octane. I have the belief that low altitude 87 is the same as our 85 but it measures differently at 6,000 feet. To answer your question, the engine is a 6.2 liter V8 in a '17...

    Sam’s Club -VS- Costco

It would be nice if Costco gas included mid-grade. My truck's owners manual says not to use less than 87 octane even at high altitude. Mid-grade here at >6,000 feet above sea level is 87.

"Folding" Bench Seats - no hardware!

If I understand correctly, it's durability is limited not by compression of the slats, but on tension within the upholstery.

    Ground pin up or down?

My 1992 house has ground-up sockets. (No, no grinder here.) It is annoying when using a lamp timer or kill-a-watt power meter because their displays are upside-down.

    Antenna in Attic?

I live 2.8 miles horizontally from the local antenna farm. Sounds good but the height above sea level for their towers bases is ≥9,570 feet and I live at ~6,250. The granite shoulder of their mountaintop blocks a lot of stations and I suspect that their antennas directionality (gain towards...

I never tried it before but I can share 10 articles per month. As far as getting scolded, that is between the Times and my very delicate ego. Glad it worked.

Low cost IR temp gun - anyone have the HF one?

If you're interested in accuracy you may wish to skim https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emissivity . Two different materials at the same temperature will appear to have different temperatures if their emissivity is different.
