Garden hose 100 foot run on top of chain link fence

I did forget to mention it will NOT be pressurized at all times. I will turn off at the spigot when not watering the garden and points along the way. All manual watering no automatic timer.

Garden hose 100 foot run on top of chain link fence

I thought of the theft aspect and figured I could just half assed spray paint it silver to blend in with the top rail. This on a shared fence inside property line on friendly neighbor side of the lot. I though PVC would degrade in UV and also lower pressure via raised temperature internally...

Garden hose 100 foot run on top of chain link fence

I hate moving the garden hose. I hate putting it away. I hate reeling it in. I want to replace a hundred foot run with pipe. Above ground. My garden hose runs 8 feet from spigot to chain link fence, then more than a hundred feet to far end garden with some quick connects along the way for other...

Suggestions for heavy duty yard cart?

I made my own from plywood. Silcone sealing, sealed edge guards and annual painting prevent destruction from the weather. https://www.garagejournal.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=817506&stc=1&d=1539121223...

120vac line voltage across the tongue. Still in grade school, decide I want to bake a cake. I'm using an electric mixer to beat the ingredients. The mixer has a detachable power cord. It falls off the mixer, drops in the bowl of batter. No harm yet. I see the two connectors have batter on it...

Building a Cordless Tool Station... Thoughts?

When I built mine I though I was genius by ensuring I could pick and place a battery single handed. Fasten the chargers down. No need to hold the base with one hand while removing a charged battery with the other. Works well but......I didn't think of Minnesota winters....the lithion ion...

How "creative" have you been with epoxy?

I routinely use epoxy to fill unneeded holes in a metal panel or chassis. Back up the reverse side with thin fiberglass sheet, overfill the hole with expoxy, sand and feather to level with the surface, primer and paint. You can not tell the hole was ever there.

Any funny stories on lost tools?

In the late 80s and early 90s I started losing thing. I didn't used to lose *any* object. Then I turned 30. Lost several Craftsman pocket screwdrives and plug gapping gauges. Lost a set of keys to my sister's house while she was on vacation and I was taking care of her cats. They didn't get fed...

    Lets see your workbench

My bench for the past 19 years has been a disaster. Six feet of bench buried in **** with thirteen more wall feet of **** surrounding it. I took a week of vaction in August to rectify that situation. Here is a before shot and shot midway thru the rebuild.
