    No Lubricating Oil Air Compressor

I should RTFM more before I post. Straight from the book... The ideal operating temperatures is 40° and 100°F (4° and 37° C), the operating limitations is 15°F (-9°C) or above 125°F (52°C). If temperatures consistently drop below 32°F (0°C), install within a heated building. If this not...

    No Lubricating Oil Air Compressor

Sounds like the same bench. Built mine when I was in junior high from plans in Reader's Digest Complete Do-it-yourself Manual. Mine also has dowel and glue construction but was later reinforced with the angle brackets. I have replaced the top once since I built it. Like my old Deere compressor...

    No Lubricating Oil Air Compressor

I'm happy to hear that some oil free compressors are doing well in light, homeowner use conditions. I just bought a Northstar 8 gallon oil free to replace a 50 year old John Deere A75 that finally gave up. This is my first oil free compressor and it's kept in attached but unheated garage. It's...

    Motorcycle Tools

Interesting. I'd be lifting a 520 pound sport touring bike. I'm sure it will lift the weight but how's the stability? Is it tippy with the narrow footprint? A lift that stores out of the way would be great but not worth it if the lift were to fall over.

I'm intrigued by your lift. Not a lot of info online. Will it stand by itself when folded or does it need to be strapped to something? Only found one pic of it folded. Also about how big is the foot print when folded and stored on end. I'd love a lift but just don't have a place to put it when...

HF Harbor Freight 26" top box differences

I picked up my blue top box two days ago. I did get the 64430 which is nice. Before I filled it I did remove the pins for the lock rails and pulled them out. The center rail is short and only locks the top center drawer. The outer two are full length and lock both side top drawers and the...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Old on the left, new on the right. No matter how organized you think you can be. :) You still end up with a drawer of "miscellaneous".

$229 is the best I've seen. Sale price seems to float between $229 and $249. I picked up my bottom cabinet two weeks ago for $229 using this coupon.

HF Harbor Freight 26" top box differences

Thanks. Must be that not all the rails catch all the drawers. At least one of them has to be long enough to reach all the way to the bottom. Picked up the bottom yesterday but they didn’t have the top in stock in blue. Should be here in about a week they tell me. Quite an upgrade from my old...

HF Harbor Freight 26" top box differences

Thanks for a great post. I'm leaning toward buying this box in blue but would like to be able to open the drawers without opening the lid. Does anyone know if it's possible to drive the hinge pin out from the lock rails and then pull the rails out from the top or would it involve pulling all of...
