I purchased the one from Tekton when they clearnaced them out a few years ago. I have been quite pleased with it. Built like a tank for sure.

I have the Jack-tech. I have done a couple dozen struts with it at least. Took a while to get the gist of it, but for car struts, I find it to be very adequate. I don't know that I would trust it for heavy duty stuff however. It sure has saved me a ton of time on strut assembles since I started...

I use the JD9-C from Green Garde. Paid $120 for it about ten years ago, and it is still working as it did on day one. You can get a rebuild kit for it for about $25, expensive I know, but I fully expect this thing to last the rest of my life... :D

I oil directly in the joints.

I have had a quickjack since about a year after they came out. I have been using superlube high viscosity PTFE instead of grease, and have not had any issues yet. Don't really expect I will have any either.

The only time I have to air up the sure shot cans is when I refill them with whatever fluid I am using. I usually on fill half way, and I have yet to have one air down on me. Some sit for months without being used... never an issue.

I would avoid the Pella windows personally. I would much rather Anderson or Marvin myself.

Don't know that I can help you much in your quest, but my favorite nail clippers by far are by Seki. Made in Japan. I have not tried the no-mes ones, but I have tried many others. Good luck.
