    the three pulleys are for reverse and forward. the bearing hangers are probably 1930's the same as the lathe. the bigger pulley is for PTO to a wheel cutter etc. one day, and the cones run to the lathe. some more pictures of the shaft assembly, I picked it up on ebay and did some work on it...
