    That is cool! This grinder is smooth as silk. I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is considered "Rare". I really appreciate the input. That leaves the trail alittle easier as to finding out exactly when and where or even why it was made.

    They do look similar. I don't recall either companies being associated with Emerson or Ridgid? If Dayton did make this grinder (because they do look similar). When and how long did the Rigid name appear on them?
