T8 is the newer more energy efficient bulbs. T12 are the older bulbs. Here is an easy way to tell them apart: T8 bulb is 1" in diameter T12 bulb is 1.5" in diameter

Yes, the bar was already there. I was actually going to take it down, but now I am not sure. It works good for hanging clamps from. :)

I built this bench in my basement last week. It gives me a place to store some tools in the house and also work on some small projects when it is too darn cold to go out and work in the garages. I still need to get a coat of paint on it.

Well, I went out into the garage tonight and found that rubber plug and added some hydraulic jack fluid to the floor jack and it now works fine. Thanks again guys.

Thanks Hiball. I will check it tonight and gradually add some new fluid and see how it works. As to where the oil went, I'm guessing it gradually leaked from a worn seal somewhere over the years. I've never worked on a jack before, so I would not even know where to begin to look to try and...
