Bridge Jacks for a Bendpak HD9 Lift

I have a Bend Pak as well, and have often considered getting a jack. Looking at some of the welds on them and materials used to build them, I assume many folks could do a similar build quality in a home shop? This may be a dumb question, but has anyone ever built their own bridge jack?

    TSA compliant multi tool

Anyone know what kind of hammer this is?

I thought the same thing Steve_P about it being odd for a round faces on a deadblow as all the ones I have seen inside have been steel can with flat faces. I emailed Nupla CS, they were really quick to get back to me, but said it's not one of their hammers, their engineers also aren't sure...

Anyone know what kind of hammer this is?

Thanks all, after looking a a few different designs, I am thinking now it may just be a nupla rubber deadblow with the rubber taken off? Does that make any sense with rounded faces like that?

Anyone know what kind of hammer this is?

the Head and one of the faces is one piece and the other face appears to be joined after as part of manufacturing, but does not appear to be removable. And yes the blue paint is a poor diy job before it was given to me (I looks like it might have been red? Before). I have rounding Hammers...

Anyone know what kind of hammer this is?

Tried searching it on the web and had no luck. So will throw it out to the collective brain here. The head is all aluminum and the faces are round on both ends. It is filled with shot like a deadblow. The handle is fibreglass and reminiscent of the older snap on stuff. I think maybe for...

    Magnaflux vs dynaflux

like you said Magnaflux is a brand not a testing method. I have worked with magnaflux materials (MT and PT ) extensively for over 15 years. I prefer the magnaflux materials better than most of the other brand I have used, but I would say it is only marginally better at best. (Ardrox...

Does anyone use white board or chalk board in the shop?

That looks like what I was hoping to capture with a board. Do you have any issues cleaning that afterwards?

Does anyone use white board or chalk board in the shop?

Thanks those are great ideas, I was also thinking it may be handy to keep track of borrowed tools, and who borrowed them. I think white board may be the way to go. I'm wondering if sheet of stainless and black sharpies would also work? (Then just clean with solvent or wd40 to erase)

Does anyone use white board or chalk board in the shop?

Wanting to get something like a white board or a chalk board for use in the shop to keep track of projects and "to do's". I know sometimes shop chemicals and solvents make these near unusable. Does anyone use a white board or anything else in the shop? or is there something better to look for?

Options for repair slab heat or SOL?

shop is covered under home policy, but have been working to try to see what the coverage is. It is tough because the damage from the incident is to the property structure and less to damage caused from the “water escape“. has anyone dealt with similar before?

Options for repair slab heat or SOL?

Well a bad thing happened. Last winter we got a particularly bad cold snap. (-50 for about a week). And my slab heat froze up, and we discovered in the spring that it must have freeze split and is now leaking pretty bad. The top surface is fine, but I’m guessing it has broken through on the...

    Lowes Flex Tools

Was wondering about these as well so dug this thread up. I think initially FLEX and Lowes were offering lifetime warranty (or lifetime service agreement/ LSA...or whatever they call it) similar to Ridgid. That might be the only thing that could sway a persons decision to take on that line of...

    Hand Cleaner favorites

I have tried a lot of different ones over the years, Gojo cherry bomb, snap on, etc. but stumbled upon basic cheap washing machine powder a few years back by accident. (The cheaper the better it seems). This honestly works better than anything else I have ever used, and leaves your hand...

My rendition of a sheet metal brake.

Ok. Ill ask the next dumb question. On the top of both of the brakes pictured there is a structure that forms a triangle on the top with an adjustable rod, on the first one (looks great by the way) I figured it was for structural rigidity, but noticed it is also on the isb cornbinders as well...
